Amma - The Association of Malayalam Movie Artists held its meeting at Kochi on 26 June 2011. Perfomance, share details and other matters were discussed.

The relaxation paid for senior artists of Malayalam Movie Industry will be raised to Rs.4000 from Rs.2500. Presently 60 artists are availing this benefit. It will also be raised to 81 no.s.

Former Artists like Pala Thankam, Dancer Sadhana, Dubbing Artist Hari will be given membership. Rs.2 Lakhs will be offered to Artist suffering from Cancer. Rs.10000 will be offered to Senior artist out of which Mr.Jose Prakash's interview was telecasted who already claimed the relaxation.

As a Social Activity, Rs.1 Lakh will be awarded to 5 orphanages. Malayalam Cine Artist will appear for next Cricket Premier League.

General Secretary Mohan Lal, Vice President Mukesh, Secretary Edavela Babu, Committee Member Siddique presided over the function. Majority of the Cine Artists attended the function which includes Mohanlal, Mammootty, Jayaram, Dileep, Biju Menon Madhu, Kavya Madhavan, Bhavana, Samvrutha Sunil and so on.
