Senior dubbing artiste and actress Pala Thankam (80) has passed away. It ended at 7.35pm on Sunday. He has been an inmate of Pathanapuram Gandhi Bhavan since 2013. Gandhi Bhavan passed away while undergoing treatment in palliative care due to age-related ailments. The body is in the Gandhi Bhavan mortuary. The funeral will take place later.
Radhamani was born on February 26, 1941, the daughter of Kunjukuttan and Lakshmikutty, at Sarathchandra Bhavan, Thiruvathukal, Vellore, Kottayam. He studied music from an early age. The first Guru was Puliyanur Vijayan Bhagavathar. Later he studied music with LPR Varma of Changanassery.
