Antichrist malayalam movie will have Prithviraj in lead directed by Lijo Pellissery. Lijo is planning to do the new project ‘Antichrist’ well before ‘Disco’ which has been postponed due to the in-completion of the script. Anti Christ would start rolling as soon as Prithviraj returns from London.
Scripted by P F Mathews, the theme of the movie is to enlighten a novel idea. Riding on the success of Amen, Lijo Pellissery has been receiving a number of offers. The director has been invited to helm a project in bollywood, which is believed to be the remake of Amen.
Lijo who debuted with Nayakan had done City of God with Prithviraj and Indrajith in lead. Even though his early ventures got appreciation, the movies failed to impress the audience.
‘Amen’ received well reception at the box office due to its innovative style of treatment. It is also credited as the first commercial success of Lijo. Creamed with slapstick comedies and folk influences, Amen was greeted at the theatres and made it a box office hit.
Lijo who had announced his next project with Indrajith in lead prior to the release of ‘Amen’ is said to have shelved for a short time to give the script writer to complete the script. As Amen had done wonders at Kerala box office, Lijo could impress Prihviraj and received his dates too. Rest of the cast is expected to get announced soon.
