AMMA is back…

After six years, AMMA is back with a star studded night to live the spirit of Malayalees….'Suryathejasode, Amma'.

This time AMMA has joined hands with the one of the largest television networks in India, the Sun Network with its Malayalam Channel Surya TV to propagate the star studded night .

Ace director Mr.Sidique who has proved, that, language is no barrier for quality cinema is the show director. Mr.Edavela babu, Will adorn the chair of Event Manger.

AMMA has always been in the forefront for the welfare of the performing artist; this show too, will envisage such a cause. Mr. Innocent, president of AMMA opined the precise objective of the show, would be to provide Medical aid to families of artist who are not self sustainable, to provide financial aid to families of performing artists, to provide fixed monthly emoluments to the deprived artistes and also to provide financial aid to the society which is hit by any calamity.

Mr. Ravi Menon, Group programming head of Surya TV said this show will also be a venue, to honor the yester years artistes who have given commendable contributions to the world of Malayalam Cinemas.

Mr.Edavela Babu, Secretary of AMMA opined that this star studded night will be an extension of the welfare activities of AMMA which kicked off with the super hit movie 20-20 was a salient effort to raise funds for the welfare of the Malayalam Movie actors, which was welcomed by all performing artist with open hands by whole heartedly participating in the movie. The event will also be the launch pad for the TV show, 'Mukilmoodiya Nakshtrangal' initiated by Surya TV. The TV show will be a reality pick on 50 veteran's artiste from the field of Malayalam Cinema. This chat show will be a collector's edition for both AMMA and Surya TV. AMMA and Surya TV jointly will honor these 50 veterans by giving away a cash emolument of Rs.10,000/- each, during the show and this program be archived by AMMA and Surya TV.

Suryathejasode, Amma will deliver stellar innovative performances from the celebrated artistes, which promises to be a visual treat that the audience have never seen before. The rehearsals for the same will start at Kochi from Feb 20th onwards. A nine member steering committees are the key drivers for the mega show. There is a 20 member sub-committee to oversee the Travel, Food, Accommodation and performances. Costume, Make up, Camera, Light and Sound and other technical knowhow will be handled directly by the members of AMMA.

Mr. Ajay Vidyasagar, the COO of Surya TV said that, a committee comprising of Mr. Vijay Babu of Surya TV, Mr. Praveen Kumar, Mr.Aldem Jacob, Mr.Ravi Menon, Cine artiste- Innocent, Vijayaraghavan, Sidique and Edavela Babu will do the quality check of the program before they are live. He added that, the show will be aired in two episodes in Surya TV as a Vishu 'Kaineettam'. The COO said, it is a privilege for Surya TV to associate with AMMA, the biggest movement for Malayalam Movie Actors.

Surya TV reserves the rights for telecast and other promotions for the star studded show, 'Suryathejasode – Amma'. Regarding the show at Bangalore Mr.Ramachandran Paleri announced that the show will be a jointly organized by Karnataka Nair services, Delta productions & Nadham Marketing Company.
