South Indian actress Usha Rani, who is known for her memorable supporting roles in Malayalam and Tamil film industry, passed away on Sunday (June 21) morning in Chennai. Reportedly, she was getting treated for kidney-related ailments.
She is the wife of late director N Sankaran Nair. Her funeral will take place in Chennai today evening.
Though she had acted in several languages, she was prominently seen in Malayalam films. Many Mollywood celebrities such as Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas and Jayasurya took to social media to pay their last respects to the late actress.
