Personal Life
Lena is the daughter of Mohandas and Teena from a reputed Christian family of Thrissur. In January 16, 2004, she married Abhilash Kumar, a screen writer in Malayalam cinema. But later on this couple got separated due to unknown reasons.
Early Life
She completed her schooling from Seventh Day Adventist Higher Secondary School and Hari Sri Vidya Nidhi School, both in Thrissur. After completing her schooling, she joined for the degree course in Clinical Psychology at a reputed college in Thrissur. Later on she moved to Mumbai and completed her post graduation in the same course. Before coming to movies she worked for a short time as a clinical psychologist in Mumbai.
Television Career
From the year 2005 to 2014 she had acted in many television serials as well as shows. Lena was the main character of Asianet's serial Omanathinkalpakshi. She has also acted in other serials like Ohari, Chiluvilakku, Malayogam, Thadangal Palayam, Thulabharam and so on, telecasted in the Malayalam channels of Asianet, Surya and Amrita. She was also the host of the programmes Your Choice and Amul Sangeetha Mahayudham.
Film Career
Her film career started in the year 1998 with the movie Sneham, in which she played the role of Ammu, Jayaram's younger sister. Her major breakthrough came with the movie Traffic (2011) in which she played the character named Shruthi.
