PERSONAL LIFE
Born on October 1, 1960, at Edavanakkad, in Ernakulam, Siddique is the youngest child of K. Mamathu and Biwi. He has an elder brother Abdul Majeed and a sister Arifa. He is now married to Seena, who is his second wife. His first wife had committed suicide. In total, he has three children namely Shaheen, Reshin and Farheen.
EARLY LIFE
He did his primary schooling at a local school in his hometown, Edavanakkad and continued his studies and later took his Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Kalamassery Government Polytechnic. He then grabbed the opportunity of working as an Electrical Engineer at Kerala State Electricity Board division at Thrissur. After a few years of service in KSEB, he flew abroad to Saudi Arabia and worked there for a few more years. Later quit his job and came back for what he really loved to do and achieve.
FILM CAREER
He started discovering his talents and virtues during his academic at Govt Polytechnic. He started his career as a mimicry artist from there. He soon realized that he was born to excel in something else rather than studies which were soon unveiling. Unlike his fellow mates, Siddique had a great passion for acting, as he was always influenced and inspired by various actors of his early childhood days. However he never had a particular role model, and he was already one in the making.
It was Thambi Kannandanam, one of the most renowned directors of the silver screen, who came across his talents and introduced him to the industry. He made his debut in the film Aa Neram Alpa Dooram (1985), by which he got noticed as a good actor and which lead to so many supporting roles in his future endeavors. Siddique has proved to fans across the state that he is a versatile actor of his time and always welcomes challenging role like character roles, comedy or even cold-blooded villainous role. His well-maintained physique and body language made him the director's first choice for a uniformed role of police or an army officer.
The movie New Delhi, released in 1987, still one of the hit movies of all times was the breakthrough film of his silver screen career. It was movies like In Harihar Nagar(1990), Mimics Parade(1991), Godfather(1991), Sandesham(1992), Kasargod Kadharbhai(1992), Thiruthalvadi(1992), Kallan Kappalil Thanne(1992), Mookilla Rajyathu(1992), Pandu Pandoru Rajakumari(1993), Ayalathe Adheham(1993), Adheham Enna Idheham(1993), Kavadiyattam(1994), Malappuram Haji Mahanaya Joji(1995) saw Siddique emerging as a promising comedy artist of the time.
Later he took various challenging roles of police officers, in Sthalathe Pradana Payyans (1993), Cheppadividya(1993), Kaushalam(1993), Ekalavyan(1994), Gandhari(1994), Bhishmacharya(1995) and many others. He also displayed his perfection in Character roles in movies like Asuravamsam(1997), Superman(1998), Lelam(1998), Veendum Chila Veetukaryangal(1999), Arayannangalude Veedu(2000), Crime File(2000), Ravanaprabhu(2001), Valyettan(2001) and so on.
In 1997, he accepted in his first villainous role in the super hit film Sathyameva Jayathe against Suresh Gopi. This was followed by a series of villainous roles in Kannaki (2002), Choonda(2004), Agninakshathram(2005), and Bada Dosth(2007). Nandanam (2003) and Bada Dosth introduced Siddique to the industry as a successful producer. His movie Nandanam was a real trendsetter.
His 2017 movies include Welcome to Central Jail, Oppam, Velipadinte Pusthakam, Role Models, etc; 2018 movies include Sunday Holiday, Ramaleela, Vedham, Aadhi, Captain, Hey Jude, etc.
He also braced the Tamil film industry for the first time in 1996 movie Subash. He acted in other Tamil movies like Jana(2002), Vaigai Express (2017), Bhaskar Oru Rascal (2018). Odiyan is the current movie in which Siddique is working on.
TELEVISION CAREER
Siddique has also showcased his presence in the mini screen. He had played the main role of Hari, in the super hit mega serial Sthree. He has always been a shocker in serials. He again invaded Kerala audience with his blockbuster police investigation series, Black & White, in which he played one of the most popular police roles of all times. He again stole hearts with his talk show in Amrita TV Samagamam, where he got the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of famous personalities like Travancore Maharaja, Yesudas, M.K. Joseph, K. Karunakaran, M.T. Vasudevan Nair, Shihab Thangal, P.T. Usha, Mohan Lal, and so on. He was also a part of many other television shows like Chila Kudumba Chitrangal, Vava, Sthree 2, Sallapam, Sangeetha Samagamam, Symphony, Pachakuthira.

Having acted in more than 250 movies, Siddique has also bagged many awards for his prominent movie roles. The awards include:
