Shanavas, son of actor Prem Nazir, tried his luck in the movie industry in 1980's. He started as a lead actor and his movie 'Premageethagal' was well noticed. Later he began to do supporting roles. He took a gap after his movie 'Neelagiri', but later had a come back. His villian role in the recently released 'Zachariyayude Garbinikal' was appreciated. Shanavas is married to Ayishabevi and they have two sons.
