Chembil Ashokan is one of the upcoming actors of the Malayalam movie industry. Hailing from Chembu (Vaikom), Ashokan started his career with the Dileep movie 'Pappi Appacha'. Later he appeared in movies like Katha Thudarunnu, Violin, Celluloid, Vellimoonga etc.
National Award-winning actor Nedumudi Venu died at the age of 73 at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday. He had been in a critical condition for some time due to liver-related ailments.
