Saranya Mohan came to the industry as the dancing girl in the movie 'Aniyathipravu'. Later she appeared as a child artist in few movies. Her debut lead role in Malayalam movie was in 'Chemistry'. She was also active in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada industry. Saranya got married to Aravind Krishnan.
National Award-winning actor Nedumudi Venu died at the age of 73 at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday. He had been in a critical condition for some time due to liver-related ailments.
