Sarath Das, a talented actor who is also a serial artist, is the son of late Kathakali Musician Venmani Haridas. Sarath is a multifarious personality. He is an efficient dubbing artist and a musician. He won Kerala state award in the year 2006 for best dubbing artist in Achuvinte Amma. He also acted in music albums like Salabham and Nilavu. He started his film career through the film, Swam directed by Shaji N. Karun. Now he is anchoring Rangoli, a campus-based competition show, which is telecast in Surya TV. He was also the anchor of Zoom-in, a film based program which was telecast in Kairali TV. His native place is Aluva and settled in Trivandrum.

National Award-winning actor Nedumudi Venu died at the age of 73 at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday. He had been in a critical condition for some time due to liver-related ailments.
