Sitara started her movie career in 1980's. Though, she enacted in several Malayalam movies, she is well noted for her performance in Chamayam, Mazhavilkavadi etc. After 1999, she re-entered into the the movie industry with the film 'Bharya Onnu Makkal Moonu'. She is still active in the silver screen.
National Award-winning actor Nedumudi Venu died at the age of 73 at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday. He had been in a critical condition for some time due to liver-related ailments.
