Vinaya Prasad is introduced to the Malayalam movie industry by M T Vasudevan Nair in the movie 'Perumthachan'. But, she got famous with the role 'Sreedevi', in the movie 'Manichithrathazhu'. She the appeared in several Malayalam movies. She is still active in the industry. Vinaya is married to Jyothiprakash and they have a daughter Prathama Prasad.
National Award-winning actor Nedumudi Venu died at the age of 73 at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday. He had been in a critical condition for some time due to liver-related ailments.
